Washington DC Trip

Posted by on June 29th, 2012, under Jerrol News

I went to Washinton DC to see what people thought of my petition.

Some things that I learned:

-Washington DC was much bigger than I anticipated and it is quite easy to get lost.

-It is very hot and humid at this time of year in D.C.

-Most of people I spoke with were interns and in their early twenties, much like Hollywood.

-Congressional officers advised they don’t write their own legislation and want me to write my own for them to sign. The system is completely backwards.

-Use your GPS!

Glad you were there Jerrol! It does not sound like such a friendly place to be. Looking forward to gathering with you and letting elected officials know they need to read before they vote!
